As predicted last week, BIGBANG and miss A were the two acts to watch as both their new singles made big strides up the K-Pop Hot 100 at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, pushing four-week chart topper Lyn and her soundtrack single, "To Turn Back Hands of Time," to No. 3.

Female quartet, miss A, has returned with their fourth mini-album and made it to the No. 2 spot with lead single "Touch." The song is a medium tempo track about a woman blossoming back to life after recovering from an excruciating painful experience in love. The choreographer behind Beyoncé's, "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" Jonte created the dance moves for the music video and live performances, which helped bring the song to life as the girls promoted on live television. Aside from "Touch," other songs from the EP charted including "No Mercy" (No. 39), "I Miss You"(No. 57), "Over You"(No. 63), and "Lips" (No. 76). The last charting track, "Lips," sharing another Beyoncé similarity by using matching drumline samples similar to Major Lazer's "Pon De Floor," which the singer's "Run The World (Girls)" heavily sampled.
In the United States there is "American Idol" but in Korea there is "Superstar K," -- both shows that John Park has competed on. He was the first Korean to appear on "Idol," in 2010, and was one of the first eliminated of the Top 20. He saw bigger success when he won second place on "Superstar K." After searching for his musical identity, as well as an agency for three long years, he finally launched his debut effort, "Knock." The title track, "Falling" earned its way into the No.6 spot. John's vocals blend nicely with the melancholic song (produced by London soul/funk band Mama Guns' lead singer, Andy Platts) that expresses angst of falling deeply in love.
Elsewhere on the chart, another single from the popular drama soundtrack for "The Moon That Embraces the Sun," made a splash. Male solo artist Lee Ki Chan's "I Hope It Its Not True" lands at the No. 8 spot. Those in the Top 10 last week all fall due to the big debuts including K.Will (2-4), Davichi (4-7), Lee Seung Chul (6-8), and F.T. Island (3-10), except for the other reality show superstar, Ailee, who rises 7-5 with "Heaven."
